I am sorry to hear this.. I would have suggested she have a post mortem done..
I lost three boys this litter, one day 6 one day 7 and one day 20, again no reason.. had a post mortem done and they could not find a reason for the little boy on day 20, at 2 a.m he was ok, and by 8 a.m he was gone..other then his stomach being empty they could find nothing else.. but said he had lots of fat and was not dehydrated and told me his belly could empty in 2-3 hours..
It was not my first litter and I had never had anything like this happen to me.. it is so very hard to go through this.. my heart goes out to her.. it sure depressed me some..our little girl is now 6 weeks old and I worry every day.. some say I should begin to relax.. then I see a thread like yours and know I need to be so vigilant still.... anne
