But then just last week, I saw a lady take in one those monkey's people are starting to get as pets. It was on a leash, dressed in a dress and diaper, and sitting on her shoulder out in the open. So I stopped feeling bad about bringing Maybelline enclosed in a bag.
We also snuck Maybelline in a Mexican food restuarant on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. We were starving and far from the hotel. No one asked and I didn't share the information that it was a pet bag and not a purse and yes she was much more well behaved than some of the screaming children in the restuarant. |
there was a special on those monkeys as pets on TV last night...the show was called Outsiders I think...I felt sorry for all those monkeys that were given up because they became too much too handle..it was sad
