We use Frontline because it's supposed to take care of ticks as well. Whatever you do....I'd do it soon before you have a flea infestation in your apartment. One flea can produce tons of offspring. You may have to use something on your carpet as well......cause fleas will hatch in the carpet. When I was living in an apartment (this was years ago before yorkies).......we had a flea infestation in our apartment and we didn't even have any pets at that time. Either they were coming through the walls.......or they were dormant in the carpet in the Winter time. As soon as Spring came......OMG! I had flea bites all over me. We had to bomb the apartment with fogger. Our vet also said that some shampoos can wash off the flea medicine.......I'm not sure if that's true or not. Good luck!
