Thats what we do too. Chewy learned to use her pet stairs to get up and down on the bed and she uses her puppy pads and comes back to bed.
Laurn, you're right, we do spend the whole night for the most part without water but sometimes before I go to bed I like to get a drink if my mouth is dry... I also dont think that I spend 12 hours without water. Its usually less than that.
I would just hate to think that my baby was thirsty and not have any water available for her.
