I learned to do that awhile ago, I heard it through the grapevine. I could easily be wrong, if she goes looking for her water bowl I let her have a few sips, but that is typically not the case. She is still producing plenty of pee to go potty at 230am and again at 7/8 (at which time i put down her food and water)...so for her it has been fine.
Just think about us sleeping through the night without drinking, we don't get dehydrated, she still has plenty of water in her system to last her throughout the night without drinking. Now if she isn't drinking enough during the day then I wouldn't suggest this.
Then again, I am not a vet! This is just what works for me
So I was just letting Leanne know my tip...I notice a pattern...example, last night i forgot to put up her water and she drank until 1030, she woke me up 3 times last night to potty, which of course I don't mind letting her out!, but it is a pattern, whereas if I put it up earlier around 8 or 9 she doesnt wake me up as much.
