As for me...size did matter a lot. That is why I bought a pup that was 6 months old and knew that he was pretty much full grown.
I have been in the same line of work for over 20 years and have bad hands and wrists. I have no strength left. So I wanted a 3-5# yorkie for a reason. So I could carry him without a lot of pain.
