Yes, you sometimes have to show them how to play with them. Madison was 2 yrs old when I found him and he didn't have a clue what a toy was or how to play with one....it took him awhile but he started out picking it up and carrying it and then he started throwing it in the air,and now he chews on them......he isn't into the squeaky ones so much, he likes to chew things...Max loves the squeaky ones.
Find the thread about the DIY sock toy....Madison LOVES that one and I put some of his kibble into the bottle (and put the top on the bottle)so it would rattle and he just chews away on it....great toy and cheap
