Aww!! She's so cute. I'll have the same as this as my new puppy is, hopefully, coming tomorrow. (Should've been today boohoo!).
I think you should play it by ear so to speak, and give Daisy extra cuddles perhaps. Separate them at times if necessary.
Puppies sleep a lot so I'll be giving Katie her ME time then.
