If I were you I would make a report... and at least SLOPD could patrol your area a little more than they usually do. We don't live in a high crime area, so I can see why you'd think that no one would be stupid enough to snatch them off your porch!
Can you call the nursery and see if they have any for sale? Maybe they could take a picture of them for you?
