As it gets closer and the destination is picked, if it's in Savannah or NC, maybe we can get a couple other people from the Tampa area and all drive up together? |
Savannah is a historic city. They have tons of tours of the historic part of town. In the historic part there is a street called "River Street" that is on the Savannah River and you can watch the shrimp boats and other boats come in. I can remember my dad taking me there when I was younger and getting icecream at the candy shop, then sitting and watching all the boats come in. It was pretty cool... of course there is a lot of other things to do and the beach is only about a 15 min drive from SAV.
