Just reading this now and I would like to say how VERY sorry I am for you loss. I can't seem to stop the tears, so please forgive the spelling mstakes.
I am sure that the look she gave you was her way of saying good-by and to tell you that it was going to be okay .... for her. She is no longer feeling any pain and is happy to wait for you at the Bridge. Unfortunately, those of us left behind feel the pain for a very long time after.
I am so very sorry and I wish that I could be there to give you a hug in person, but please accept my virtual, though heartfelt, one here ....
