That is a big difference. Consider that they are conceived and born between 58 -63 days. Most of mine are born around 63 days, in most books it will tell you that pups born before day 58 have huge mortality rate. I had one litter many years ago that were born on day 54. Actually thinking back too, it was my first litter. 2 did survive but the vet never thought they'd make it. Nearly lost the mom too.
Its not as easy breeding and raising these pups as some think. |
