I hope "G", our 9 year old Husky, gets though it ok. They were playmates since she was a pup and to this day they cuttle in the alley and the basement. I'll have to break in a new routine and let her sleep upstairs with Tobias and us. It'll work out.

I can sympathyze with what you're going through. I have a little six-year-old albino ferret that has been very sick. The vet thinks she has cancer. She won't eat and barely drinks. I've been hanging on for two weeks, coaxing her to eat and drink and hoping she will turn around. I am having to face the fact that she isn't going to recover and it's time to let her go. I don't want to talk about it either.
