 Update!
Okay, well we just got home from the vet. They decided to let me bring her home tonight because there is nobody there to watch her overnight. They gave her an antibiotic/anti-inflammation injection and did a cbc and chem. They sent me home with clavamox drops that I am to give her tonight before bed. At the moment, the injection is definitely working! She's running around, her ears are perked up...she still moans when picked up though. I'm supposed to keep an eye on her, give her the clamamox tonight and then see how she is in the morning. If her belly is still distended in the morning, they want her back as soon as possible to do x-rays. They will also know the results of the bloodwork tomorrow morning. I think that's all I know for now. I'm so happy to have her back home. I know we're not out of the woods yet, but it's so great to see her have some energy back. |
