I know many of this "tightly knit group of old timers" and they are wonderful, helpful, responsible, welcoming, (and some not so old),respected and ethical people that DO concentrate on their dogs and the betterment of the breed! They are NOT just politically and socially inclined. You might also want to look into the wonderful work they do for Yorkie rescue. I'm sure like in everything there may be a few bad apples, but for the majority, this is any excellent organization. If everyone followed their code of ethics, there would be a lot less problems in this beautiful breed. Besides being a member of a regional breed club, I look forward to becoming a member of the YTCA!
