I know it's upsetting, but you did your part. You tried to warn her of the huge committment. Sounds like she got this dog for all the wrong reasons, but hopefully she will suprise you and be a loving and attentive owner.

I would advise you to be as supportive as possible, for the sake of this dog. Don't go out of your way, but if she has questions answer them to the best of your ability.

It's easy to expect the worse, much harder to hope for the best, but that's really all you can do at this point. Fingers crossed that this baby has a long and happy life with its new family.
