The YTCA is a small club and it is not easy to become a member. In order to join you have to be referred by two members of the YTCA and they have to have personally visited your home. I believe most members of the YTCA are respectable and most do try to follow the guidelines set forth by the YTCA. Since it is so hard for anyone to join unless you really know someone that is already a member then I feel that we should all strive to follow the guidelines as best we can whether we are members or not. It does not make you a bad breeder if you are not a member. The truth of the matter is that many of the members of the YTCA also show their yorkies and it is not a easy task finding a member that does have puppies for sale and those that do usually have long waiting lists.
