The food is high in protein, so I suggest you make sure your dog is healthy and has a good liver before making the switch. I have heard that dogs with liver issues cannot digest that much protein. but my healthy dogs are lean and muscular, and they poo less too.

We made the switch about 9 months ago and are pleased. Oh, and I also love that the dry food comes in 4 or 5 lb bags, so it doesn't go bad before it is eaten. Ok, I will stop. I guess I really like the food, huh?
We do the same! NV is a great food and our dogs really like it! It makes me feel good to know I am feeding them only healthy natural ingredients, so for the peace of mind alone it is worth it! You wont be disappointed if you use this brand.
