We have a doorbell, nobody EVER rings it, and if it was to ring it makes a lil song not like your ordinary doorbell.

We were watching a movie the other day and twice on the movie the doorbell rang "bing bong" like a normal doorbell, both times Pita jumps up and starts barking at the front door, out of a sound sleep she did this!

I put it off to the fact it must have startled her out of her sleep. Last nite we were watching something and the doorbell rang on the tv and Pita ran to the front door barking! She wasn't asleep this time!

How could she know?? We got her at 12 weeks old and she was always in a kennel, she just started barking so it's not like she barks at everything.

How does she know what a doorbell signifies??
