We probably should have asked earlier when they were working on the house but it was the weekend and the workers didn't speak the best English so we figured we'd wait until Monday to call the owner. But this is a pretty big company so it doesn't really make sense - they're a Gold Star member of the BBB with no complaints and other websites that guarentee the contractors they recommend. They DID say they'd be getting the permit, I remember asking if we had to get it or if they would and they acted like of course, don't be silly, we take care of that...right
