Yes yes yes. Maggie does this to me too! If I happen to get in there and close the door not only does she scratch it... she head-butts it! She's crazy! She also likes to jump up on my knees while i'm sitting down lol...weird.
Isn't so great to feel loved and needed by your yorkie?
