Many thanks to everyone for the well wishes, thoughts and prayers. Little Tucker was moved out of the NIC into the regular newborn nursery and into the room with his mother. This made mom and dad very happy. Now they can really have some hands on! He is doing very well with bottle feeding from a special bottle for cleft babies. The doctors will tape his lip tomorrow to begin preparing for his first surgery. So far, doctors cannot find any other problems and have determined that he is very healthy. Hopefully he will go home in a few days. My daughter Lisa, is still very wired up. She hasn't slept in over 26 hours and has been so worried about the baby. Her blood pressure is still very high.
