We're getting new windows and when the guys came to measure, the older of the two told me he had a Yorkie boy and he just loved Abby and Daisy. He asked if he could hold and them and of course I let him. Daisy followed him all over the house and he was very sweet to her. He said if he had to make a choice between his dog or kids, he'd have to pick his dog!
Then when he got ready to go, he picked Daisy up and said, I'm taking them both home with me, right? I just laughed and said, "you'd have a fight on your hands" He was only kidding, I know, but he's coming back to put the windows in! I think I'll take my girls and go to my Mom's house
On the other hand, I've done something similar and I have to wonder if I offended this poor woman. I went to a yard sale with my SIL and she said, "look Tam, she has a Yorkie" Sure enough it was a little girl, 4 yrs old and just adorable! Her hair was cut short and the lady kept saying she needed a bath. I asked if I could pet her and she said yes. I let her lick my face and the lady acted like I was crazy! We talked about our dogs, the groomers in our area, etc.. Before I left, I told her that if she ever needed to find a new home for Sassy, My name was_____ and I live at _____. She said her kids would have a fit. I just said, "I'm sure they would, she's a sweet little girl" She's probably writing about me on some forum!
