Then, I did one of the dumbest things I have ever done in my life: I took a little nibble off the corner of one to see what it tasted like and 3 hours later I was still trying to get the 'taste' out of my mouth. It was disgusting...I liken it to a styrofoam peanut with flavor. Mmmm....tasty. Obviously, that is still a big joke w/ the family.

ROFL....well, actually, I guess I didn't really expect them to be health ENHANCING food, but my thought was that they're ok to give them as a treat since they're low cal and low fat and low sodium. And the dogs love them. Plus, they're crunchy.

I have to say, I'm glad you told me about the taste, b/c I'm sure I would have gotten around to tasting them myself eventually. And I DID taste the treats I made for them which they also LOVE ..one is banana and one is apple they smell so good but....GACK......gross. But they like them...so, far be it from me to tell them what tastes good or not. As in, another post, I told about Max eating cigarette butts.... more than once. So I don't brag about the flavor of my homemade dog treats, LOL.
