Layla, honest to God, comes alive at the beach. This is our Canada Day weekend (although Canada Day isn't until Tuesday) and we wanted to do something fun. We were supposed to go to Niagara-on-the-Lake however when we looked it up it was a 2 hour drive so instead we went to Grand Bend which is a real boating community and the kind of place that is just dead in the winter. Well it rained ALL The way there.. rained through lunch and then when we left the restaurant... it stopped! just long enough for Layla to have a BLAST on the beach!

she was so funny.. she would walk along the shore and cool and calm and then the water would come up the shore and scare the crap out of her.. lol... but it only got her feet wet.. and then back she'd go to walking on the shore
