I totally agree. I have been (and am going again next week) camping with Chloe. While it is a nice addition to camping to have her there, if you want to do anything sans doggie, you cannot leave them in the campsite. Whereas in the hotel, we were able to leave them briefly to sleep, like if they were left at home for a couple of hours.

Also, wherever this is held, the one thing that was really nice about the location in KC was that there was so much within walking/free shuttle distance from the hotel. We need to make sure wherever we go has similar local attractions.
