He needs to be on a high fiber, low fat food. We have him on Royal Canine dry right now...it's prescription. Sometimes he'll eat it plain, other times we have to coax him by mixing with a baby carrot or little pieces of pita bread on each piece. I know...he's spoiled! Last night he had quite a few bowl movements, but they were all formed! None of that mucous or diarrhea. His belly was making so many gurgling sounds and at one point he was up at 2:30, 3:30 and 4 am having bowel movements. I think it's b/c his belly's trying to get used to the new food and all that fiber. Since there wasn't any diarrhea, I wasn't worried. It seems like during the day he won't poop, but then it all comes out at night. I'm not sure if we're going tonight for fluids again. I've been giving him 1tsp of water and pedialyte about every 1/2 hr to hr. He's so interested in food and he's being nosy and acting like himself. I just get soooooo worried about any difference in him.
