We recently had Buddha neutered but he came home the same day. I think he still marks the same from what i can tell and he was 9 months old when he was neutered. The humping has lessened though. The surgery wasn't too bad but we forgot and bathed on day three and irritated the incision a little but he was fine and actually pulled the suture out himself after week!
It was only one stitch.
