Like bchgirl said, seizures usually happen for a reason, and if a physical injury did not occur, the first thing that should be ruled out is a liver disorder like liver shunt...This requires a bile acid test which is fairly inexpensive ($45-$100 depending on where you live) and requires a blood draw before a meal and two hours after a meal. No fast is required.
