Little Tucker was born this morning at 3:44 a.m. weighing in at 6 lbs. 5 oz. and 18 inches long. Short little fellow. It appears that he is healthly other than the aforementioned clefts. He is nursing from a bottle and seems to be doing very well with it. He is in the NIC unit and we are hoping that he will be moved to the regular newborn nursery sometime today if he continues to improve. My daughter is doing well, but has other complications including gallstones, low potassium and extremely high blood pressure. Doctors may go ahead and do surgery while she is in the hospital. This has been an ongoing problem since pregnancy. Hubby and I would like to go to the hospital today, but the weather is so nasty and the road that we have to travel is dangerous even in dry weather and it is a 2.5 hour drive. May have to wait until tomorrow but Lisa is going to email some pictures if we don't get to go today. I will continue to update . Hope everyone has a great Sunday.
