I would say absolutely not, especially with risk of them licking. And, this stuff does get absorbed into your skin (human or animal) - which is why I also don't use it on humans. There are non-toxic sprays made for dogs by places such as Happy Tails and many shampoos have essential oils that act as insect repellent as well.
