I did a 'NEW POSTS' search the other day and almost every single one had to do with pregnant moms or newborns....it's very sad for the breed to see so many people jumping in and breeding their dog without a clue....I know everyone who wants to breed has to start somewhere but it looks like everyone and their uncle are breeding yorkies these days

Just look in the Health and Sick and Emergency Section. Sooooo many sick puppies - I've never seen the site with this many. It's heartbreaking.

I realize that there are a lot of people out there just trying to make a quick buck with their dogs; however, Some are out there trying to get a start in the dog world doing everything they can to make the breed a better one. Making sure the Vet is right there all the way doing testing ect. I realize most of the people you are insinuating do not even know what a vet is however that isnt exactly a great way for others to get a good name either. You make it sound like anyone new coming into the breeding part of the yorkies is just another BYB or something and I must say not all of them are! Most people would do their homework and get a puppy from a person whom is working on a betterment program or even one whom has great references anyway. I know I would!!!
