As to the vaccinations, I always put the labels in the puppy books. My puppies are up-to-date on their shots when they leave here. I tell the new pet parents to walk away from any vet that insists they have to re-vaccinate the puppies. I ask that they call my vet who will confirm the puppies were given their shots. I believe you can over-vaccinate these little ones. We give half-shots on puppies. I believe many vets use vaccinations as a way to make money; the protocols are very clear that a 20# mastiff puppy and a 1.5# yorkie really do not need the same amounts of vaccine. |
