I've had a neck collar on Lil Bit ever since I got him (early March) and haven't had any trouble at all. He also walks on a leash just fine (he was over a year old when I got him and I don't know his background). He only goes outside to potty--we don't have a fenced in yard so he is never loose, and I only walk him occassionally.
Should he have a harness instead of a collar??
I prefer to keep something on him at all times--is this a bad idea? I have wondered if the collar is affecting the growth of fur on his neck area...
And I also am sorry about the puppy that got killed. It's bad enough to let them go when they're aged and/or sick!
