I am in south Texas where fleas and misquitos are really bad most of the year. I spray my yard and trees once a month with misquito-B-gone by ortho. If you read the label it says it is for other insects too. fleas being one of them. we do not have a problem with fleas in the yard or for that matter misquitos either. (well not as much as the people across the street from us do.) and that is a fact!
the directions tell you that it is safe for humans and pets after it dries. I usually warn all the pet owners in the neighborhood when I will be spraying so they can keep their pets and kids out of my yard.
