What a loving God I serve to give me such joyous times with my little Tink.

I'm going away for a week for some special pain therapy. Please pray with me that this will work. If it doesn't, we are at an empasse. I'm beginning to be really drained and I just don't have the stamina I need to keep pushing. My knee is in really good shape - I have no problems with it at all (of course it is sore and still healing but nothing that I didn't expect). The pain I'm dealing with is all nerve pain, some from sciatica, some from nerve issues during the surgery, and some is what they call "sympathetic" nerve pain from my other leg. Then I have some additional pain going on at night and when I lie down that they are aware of post-surgery but don't know how to deal with it in patients. It feels like my leg is going to burn up and that it is being stabbed with hugs needles - different from the other pain tho. Fortunately, my doctor said that in people who experience this, it usually goes away in 3-6 months.

OK, enough about me. I'll see you and my precious Tink in about a week. Take care - enjoy your 4th of july!
Sorry you are in so much pain. Nerve pain can be excruciating. I was in a very bad motorcycle accident several years ago and have suffered nerve pain until I had a procedure called "Facet Rhizotomy". I can't tell you how much this has helped me. Not many people are aware of this procedure and you may or may not be a candidate for it, but I thought I would give you the link to check it out. Perhaps it would be an option for you.
Welcome to Bellevue Interventional Spine Specialist - Dr Chang
Glad to hear that Tink is making progress.
