Turkey can actually trigger pancreatitis in some dogs so you want to steer clear of it. Vets see lots of emergencies on Thanksgiving when dogs get turkey leftovers. I'd stick with chicken breast or whitefish if you are going to homecook.

Natures Recipe (available at Petsmart) makes a high fiber, lowfat food that is a pretty good quality food. It's their senior lamb and rice recipe. I fed it to Lady for quite awhile until she became allergic to lamb.
