I agree that tough love is in order. He needs a daily TO DO list and if he fails to finish it he can expect to get his own meals. You said he signed a contract that he'll be out by 9/1...I don't want to stress you out any more than you already are, but if he isn't keeping up his end of any of the other things in the contract, he's not going to be keeping that promise either. You need to kick his butt out. Of course he isn't working, why should he? He's got free room and board with you! Maybe a scare of really being homeless will get him motivated. And he's better off being homeless in the summer than in the winter! |
