I just recently read about how unsafe collars are for small dogs. So, I started with the "gentle leader," which my Yorkie HATED. I got him the Puppia harness last night and he was fine wearing it around the house and fine being attached to the leash when he had to use the bathroom outside. But, he would not budge when we tried to have a walk. His ears were back and tail was between the legs and he wouldn't move a muscle. How can I get him to walk on this harness? I'm desperate because I don't want to risk hurting him with a collar.
