Along with the above poster, I would get a toy that could kinda be a security blanket for you little one. Hubby picked out a flat sherpa lamp at petsmart (that I thought was too big), well I put it in his crate from day one and he still til this day LOVES it. He gnaws and gnaws on its tail! He drags it up to my lap when he goes into his nightly routine of getting ready for bed. He turns to it throughout the day, but mostly at night. I also had gotten him a little turtle that he still LOVES...I just had to go and buy 3 more (for safekeeping too) cause he has chewed up and through the first one. I guess since it was his first real toy he identifies with it. I also had a few of those squishy pillows...he LOVES those too. It is so funny to see him digging to make it just right to lay on.
Just give you little one lots of attention and love and you'll be fine! Oh, and bitter apple for chewing on things you don't want her/him too. Can't wait to see pictures! congrats! Boy or Girl? |
