i'm so happy to here there are quite a few yorkie owners in southern ca! louis, my 4 month male yorkie, LOVES other dogs. he goes nuts when he sees other dogs, but most dogs he's met are bigger than him and it doesn't seem like they want to play with him. it's really quite sad sometimes and i feel bad for him. i think big dogs just look at him like he's this little annoying thing running around them.
but he loves kids, and my daughter and niece and him always play tag -- of course louis is always "it"!!!
oh! and if you don't mind...i have a quick question...do your yorkies tend to wear themselves out quickly. i think louis loves to play, but after awhile, he'll knock out for a couple of hours. and he sleeps like 10 hours at night. do most yorkies sleep that much or is it because he's still young? thanks everyone! |
