Okay...just read through the thread...some great suggestions...
One thing that I don't think is a good idea is Texas in the summer. I was thinking fall or spring would be great for warmer places
I mean, you have to think about people as a whole. I LOVE heat and warmth, but I'm sorry...most people don't. I don't think Texas in summer is good idea.
Secondly, I don't think NYC is a good idea either. Just because there are a lot of people there who can make a day trip out of it, the rest of us that will be coming from EVERYWHERE ELSE will spend EVEN MORE. SO yeah, some may get a great "deal" from it being in NYC but most will suffer, cost-wise.
I really think Nashville, Chicago, San Diego are all good options
Also, Kathy mentioned Charleston, and while I would love to have it here, I don't think it's a great idea. There aren't that many dog boutiques and flights here are VERY expensive, as compared to bigger cities....JMO
But if y'all wanna come, you're certainly welcome
