My scarey story was last summer when Remy went in for her spay and hernia surgery. The vet damaged her throat with the tube they insert for surgery. She was coughing when I picked her up , they said dont worry about it it will go away in a few days. Well the next day the coughing got worse ,as the night progressed she started to retch and vomit .I took her to the nearest clinic for x-rays that showed her throat had swollen almost closed. Even though she was getting worse at the clinic they sent her home with medicine, about an hour after I got her home from there she stopped breathing , I managed to get her breathing again and rushed her to the emergency vet . They put her on oxygen and hooked her up to IV's.She came pretty close to dieing that day.The vet that did the damage refuses to take responsebility and to top the whole thing off the vet didnt repair the hernia properly and Remy has had to have the hernia re-repaired again!
Remy just had her surgery on monday and this is her recovering
