Thank you so much for your replies. I did not think it was wise to give it either, so I didn't start at day 30. I am not an experienced breeder, but I do work in the medical field and I understand about not wanting the parathyroid to get lazy due to too much calcium. I do have the Nutri cal and just started giving her a little on my finger once a day, beginning on day 60. (Yesterday). I did not give it to her with her first litter, but that litter was only 2. This litter is 3 for sure, maybe one hiding! I only want the best for Lily. I just thought that beginning the calcium supplement was ok beginning with whelping?
