I have not taken Suzi to be groomed yet. AND I have not had a dog that needs it either. SO I am more on the scared side of the whole thing. I would not leave my pup alone, not because i do not trust the groomer, but, because It is the first time ever taking her, and i do not know what to expect. I have observed groomers at Petsmart. Only one, I felt was very gentle and good. I watched two groomers restrain a poodle on the table. One had the dog by its neck and throat. I was pissed just by watching that.
I made an appointment with the man, but chickened out and cancelled . I have heard through word of mouth about a lady who does grooming in her home and is suppose to be very good, and experienced. Perhaps by word of mouth and what others are talking about wil be the easiest thing to do in finding a trustworthy, experienced groomer in my area.
