Thank you. Although our vet checked his throat and everything was fine. After talking to co-workers who all have dogs as well, they think now that he knows that I baby him and let him out of kennel when he coughs it may be a way to get our attention. Dogs thrive on attention and it wouldn't surprise me. He's not deprived of it or anything but still... you never know how their little minds work LOL
