The eye color can tell the kind of coat your dog has. Red/Orange/Gold colors are warmer and your dog probably has a cottony coat. Blue/Green/Turquoise are cool colors and your dog most likely has a silk coat. I know it has been that way with the Yorkies I've owned and and it's the same with the Biewers. Some breeders use this theory to tell what kind of coat their puppies will have as adults. |
