Latte has terrible allergies this time of year. Today, she was scratching like mad and she'd already had her dose of the cortisone she's on now. Tiny dose and it's been working well. But all this scratching today and she was hot and panting. I looked on her belly and it looked like hives this evening. So I gave her a dose of Benedryl children's liquid and rubbed some OTC hydrocortisone cream on her itchy spots. It seems to have helped a bit. She licks her feet a lot and I just do everything I can. I switched her food to fresh fish and sweet potatoes. When I tried the canned varieties of the same she itched more. I began to think it was the preservatives in the food or something. It's a continuing mystery. It's a good thing she's so cute!
