Thank you so much everyone, for your prayers and good wishes! Melissa is doing much better and she talked her doctor into discharging her tonight. She had been on the IV antibiotics for 24 hours and her fever had gone down. She shouldn't have come home this soon, but I guess I would have done the same. I had brought the baby up last night and again today so she could nurse her. They say that the meds they gave her were safe for nursing mothers, but that little stinker was up all night and fussy and guess who was watching her...me! I got no sleep...but was glad she was here with me since she couldn't be with her mom!

Aunt Bev is supposed to go to a nursing home tomorrow for 3 months of rehab. She cannot put weight on that leg for 3 months so there is no other choice. Judy or I could not handle her at our homes or we would.

Seems when it rains, it pours. My MIL's 80th birthday party is Saturday...then my dil's is Sunday which will be here. I have not gotten a thing done all week and tomorrow I have to do everything in one day! Yikes! I can't wait for this weekend to be over.

Thanks again...love you all! Here's a picture of my little grandbaby...Alliyah, 7# 7oz, 19 3/4" She has thick, long, dark hair and looks a lot like my daugher when she was newborn.
