To answer your other question, we started Miko on Denosyl when he was an older puppy. He is now 4 yrs old.

I took the stool and had it tested and he had an over growth of campyl bacteria in his stool and it is normal flora. He was on flagyl and amoxicillin and he was hospitalized over night with Iv fluids and 2 doses of baytril.
The vet saw him for 2 days after he was hospitalized and he drew blod for a BAT and it was extremely elevated. From input on this forum he may not have a problem and just a sick puppy who got sick within 1 1/2 weeks after getting his second vaccine. He is eating and energetic now. We are just giving him his last few doses of the antibiotics and his feces no longer appears to have old blood in it either. WE thought his first formed stool was darker in colorer with old blood in it?
I need to take him for a check up soon. He is doing better right now.
